U-PHONE (COVID-19) Update

We recognize that with the constantly changing COVID-19 situation around the world, this is an unprecedented time for everyone — a time that, for many, is filled with uncertainty. Our hearts and thoughts go out to each and every one of you.
 

As a valued customer or partner, I want you to know that we understand the importance of the products and services we provide to you and your business. You rely on us to help power your livelihood, and we understand the responsibility that entails. Meeting that responsibility day in and day out, in any environment, is our primary focus.
 

In response to the current situation, we’ve implemented our business continuity plan — which examines all areas of business operations at U-PHONE — and have taken actions to ensure continued service to our customers. Rest assured, we are prepared to serve you. 
 

First and foremost, our plan ensures the health and safety of our employees, so we can continue to deliver the products and services you count on. Considering the most recent news and announcements from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), during these challenging times, we wanted to reach out and update you on how we are approaching the situation at U-PHONE. We will remain open for business and have requested our sales team to work virtually with customers and partners - they remain ready to assist you in any way. 
 

We have assessed the potential impact of the Coronavirus on U-PHONE operations and want to share with you the actions and contingency plans in place:
 

• We are staffed and operating at our Harwin Houston, TX facility.
• Speaking of our employees, everyone working right now is doing so on a voluntary basis, and all employees who volunteer are following CDC guidelines to protect themselves with proper gear which we have provided. Last week, our team implemented a complete sanitation process, which includes mandatory device wipe down upon arrival and departure, hand washing at intervals throughout the day, sanitation of all tools several times throughout the day, and increased sanitation after-hours by our cleaning crews.
• All of our shipping services are up and operational – We are using FedEx & UPS Logistics for all our local and international shipments. Orders are being shipped on time.
• We have increased procurement of specific products and inventory, such as tablets, hotspots and other connected devices to support our partners/customers. We anticipate a low risk of shortage on connected devices, as we have estimated inventory based on availability.
